favorite movie from your favorite director
Across the Universe
I'm not real big on picking movies by directors, so this is a little random. Julie Taymor directed Across the Universe and she was the initial director for Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark and one of the creators. If you have read this you know that I LOVED Spider-man the musical, it also featured several of the actors and actresses that were in Across the Universe. Across the Universe is a movie that is set during the Vietnam War era and incorporates the music of the Beatles: LOVE! It really is pretty amazing and has a great cast. Clearly the music is amazing, but overall it was just a good movie.
